Colour Moods

Colour Moods are the effect of various colors and color patterns on individuals when they are in the presence of different colors. Colour moods are generally present in each environment that we walk into, and may exist without is realizing why are mood was suddenly affected.

Colour moods are evident as a result of all colors and color combinations. Yellow, for example, is considered a color that is bright and that will immediately grab our attention. Advertisers prefer to use yellow as the background color for billboards and signs.

Red also provokes a color mood in that it draws attention and is generally considered to inspire strong emotion. However, too much red can also lead the individual to tire of the powerful color, creating an irritating color mood.

The most often used color in the design industry is blue. Blue suggests a cool and pure color mood that is often used by business entities in their logos and signs. Blue's color mood is also one of professionalism and trustworthiness.

Green allows for a contradiction in color moods , depending on how it is used. Green can lead to a color mood that reminds people of nature and peaceful surroundings. It can also lead to color moods that are uncomfortable because green is often associated with decay and mold. Designers often use green as a secondary color when creating a color mood because it has the ability to enhance other colors, especially blue.

Orange has the mixture of yellow happiness and intense red, and most likely will inspire happiness in the color mood . Although orange is not often used in interior design, its relationship to Jack O'Lanterns and Halloween suggests that it is a fun color mood that reminds individuals of youth.
